“Vice Versa

Threats are coming mutually from men and nature. So far people try to control nature thinking that knowledge will give them an answer about how she’s going to behave. But she’s unpredictable and revengeful with a powerful force of destruction.

We are using her, plundering her and oppressing her and we only give back our toxic waste as if it were going to vanish somewhere else.

We believe that we have power because we defy her with our buildings that we have power because we own the land. But in an instant, she takes it away. She erases with water and fire our ideas and our creations, our sense of protection and safety reminding us the futility of our pretension. She shakes, she blows, she sneezes. But we try it again, doing the same over and over. We are adolescent sons offending The Mother who fed them. We know it all, we have the science but at the end it will be our end. Nature is here to stay and life will go on”.
